Tires on the local town tractor (it plows! It cleans!). The tire codes are hard to read, but these Firestones look like they’re as bald as Lex Luthor and were made in the 51st week of 2000. Time for an upgrade?

Yeah but it's funny how long equipment tires last even after weather checking like that. Thick rubber and heavy belting

Sometimes tires are just never in the budget. Never. The local dump’s massive front end loader thingy has worn like half the cords out. It actuall y does drifts by necessity just to turn, which is scary being on the ground next to.

When your tires pre-date 9/11, it is time for a replacement

1. Dump is mostly staffed by prisoners from next door
2. Poor visibility from dust
3. Driver is getting as close as 2 feet away from untrained plebs on the ground heaving their crap in a pile
4. Driver is pedal to the metal
5. Many drifts and he even almost rolls it on a garbage pile
6. I change my pants

On the plus side, the husky probably can't chew through that tire. So if you need a Husky Proof™ chew toy...
